Enjoy Home Spas

Home spas are better known as 'personal spas'. In the comforts of home, one can experience countless hours of enjoyment and therapy in his personal spa. The 'feel' can be a comfort for the tired muscles while having a relaxing soak.

Whether it is for therapy or entertainment a hot tub is an excellent way to achieve both. The soak is known to relieve aching and sore muscles through therapeutic massage jets. Also, a hot tub is a creative alternative to entertain friends and guests.

Modern home spas come in creative and innovative designs to provide that ultimate soaking experience. The most important component of the home spa system is the hot tub. Choosing the right hot tub can be a difficult task because of the assortment of designs available in the market today. A picky user can find one that cost less to operate, and require the least amount of maintenance. Also, these factors come handy when considered: atheistic, material - redwood, cedar finish, or a plastic finish, number of jets, size, and budget.

After the hot tub comes the full range of the so-called home spa treatments which include bath & shower, moisturizers, firm & tone, weight management, hands, feet, hair removal, teeth, fragrance & aromatheraphy, among many others.

Home spas or the tub needs to be placed in an area where it will rest on a solid, level surface. A wood deck, concrete pad or pea gravel area favorable as long as no settling or erosion that could move the hot tub out of level.

However, certain hazards can occur if the spa is used improperly or malfunctions. Like swimming pools, the most significant hazard from spas and hot tubs is drowning. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has reported more than 700 deaths in spas and hot tubs since 1980. About one-third of those were drownings involving children under the age of five.
